Whilst some resorts, such as The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, have been able to remain open since The Bahamas opened their borders in early July, others have remained closed until this month. Re-opening their doors for the first time since March are Grand Hyatt, Baha Mar and Atlantis Resort Paradise Island. Grand Hyatt opened 1000 of its total 1800 inventory on 17th December, whilst Atlantis opened the newly renovated The Royal at Atlantis on 10th December. Also open at Atlantis is The Reef and Harborside Resort, with The Cove set to welcome guests back on 11th February. Other resorts that are open and receiving guests are British Colonial Hilton ,Graycliff and the new Margaritaville Beach Resort in the heart of Nassau, and Sunrise Beach Club, Paradise Island Beach Club, Bay View Suites and Comfort Suites on Paradise Island. Sandals Royal Bahamian plans its return for 28th January, whilst Melia Nassau Beach, SLS & Rosewood Baha Mar and The Beach & The Coral at Atlantis have yet to announce their opening dates.
