The twin island nation of Antigua and Barbuda offers its visitors a little bit of space in the sun.  Famed for its breath taking 365 pink and white sand beaches, Antigua and Barbuda remains a firm favourite amongst British travellers.  Antigua the main island is a mere 108 – square miles and the unspoilt sister island Barbuda is only 62 – square miles exploring is a breeze with nowhere more than a 45-minute drive. Year-round sunshine guaranteed, temperatures vary between lows of 25 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius making it perfect getaway for sun, sand and beautiful turquoise seas.

For those wishing to experience more than the 365 beaches this destination has to offer, Antigua and Barbuda has a plethora of activities to get involved in.  The tropical coral reefs surrounding the islands provide the opportunity to experience some of the indigenous wildlife and vegetation, while Barbuda offers the largest Frigate bird sanctuary in the western hemisphere, housing 5,000 birds in the Codrington Lagoon. For the thrill seekers, visitors can jet ski along our calm coasts, go for a horse ride and zip line across the tropical forest.  our vibrant shopping areas located in the Capital of St. John’s! Close to the waterfront, Heritage Quay and Redcliffe Quay allow our guests to take advantage of duty-free shopping in a range of internationally recognised stores. Nearby, our Vendors mall has a selection of locally made arts and crafts, pottery, jewellery and even clothing boutiques. History buffs can explore the renowned UNESCO World Heritage landmark - Nelson’s Dockyard. Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority

Antigua and Barbuda is happy to be able to welcome our valued visitors back on to the islands.  

As of 29th August 2022, the governemnt of Antigua and Barbuda has updated its advisory to faciliate the smooth movement of passengers to and from the country. 

The protocols implemented are as follows:

1. All COVID-19 restrictions are to be lifted for arriving passengers by air.

2. COVID-19 restrictions are also lifted for persons arriving by yacht or ferry services. However, all marine pleasure craft and ferry services entering the waters of Antigua and Barbuda should contact the Antigua Port Authority, using VHF Channel 16, at least six (6) hours prior to arrival. Instructions will be given to guide the crafts to either the Nevis Street Pier or English/Falmouth Harbours, Jolly Harbour, or another holding area.
